Harvesting season

Harvesting Rooibos is taking place during the hot summer months of January to March.  Reaching temperatures of 45 degrees Celsius, it is not anybody who thrive day after day, using a sickle to produce your healthy cup of Rooibos.  a Strong worker cut about 800 kg of wet tea in a working day.  This is about 40 bundles of tea weighing 20 kg average.
